Trying to smear her wont work. She may very well have overstepped but its with a trooper who tasered her nephew. The more the personal attacks the stronger she will become. Even Andrea Mitchell said today that even though she is conservative on social issues, she struck a visceral cord with soccer moms throughout the country. Attacks on her for defending her family will not play unless the dems have the death wish again.

This article seems to be along the same lines as the investigation as to whether the Bush administration ordered the firing of some federal attorneys.

It just doesn't matter. As in the Bush case, it is totally within the governor's duties to hire and fire people who work for the government.

If the governor wants a trooper fired, she damned well ought to be able to make it happen.

This will turn into NOTHING.
