I want to know specifically what he intends to do about Iraq, Afghanistan, the Russians,

You can't say how you're going to react because you can't predict what those guys are going to do. And you don't want to telegraph your proactive plans.

"McCain's foreign policy vision seems fuzzy. I want to know specifically what he intends to do about Iraq, Afghanistan, the Russians, etc. He has already said he is ignorant about economics. Palin is also presumably ignorant about economics on a national scale."

Except that virtually any misguided, half-assed, upside down and backwards foreign policy will be better than the Obama default position, which seems to me to be 'roll over on your back (like a dog)and hope someone rubs your belly'. Or Bidens default position of bully and bluster, but scurry off with your tail between your legs when confronted. Hair plugs, for gods sake.

I was contemplating sitting this one out completely (I do live in Cook County, after all), but Palin changes everything. I'm not going to postulate McCain dying on day one. She's a smart person, she will learn.

My bet is that Palin is more versed on national economics than anyone running.

Your question forced me to revisit what The One said he would do about Iraq, Afghanistan and Russia. He would abandon Iraq and leave its people vulnerable to a world of chaos and genocide. He would transfer troops to Afghanistan (nuking if necessary I guess?), and march into Pakistan, and he'd go to the U.N. and force them to deal with both Russia and Georgia. (sure he would)

This is the most immature kind of FP I've heard throughout this campaign, and typical Liberal strategy.

The kind of "change" we can't live with.
