Well trading the ETFs needs a lot more timing than buying CKG at $1.50 6 years ago and sit on it. Or buying BCM at $0.65 3 years ago and sit onit..or buying CPQ last year at $1.55 and sit on it...or Detour, or Minefinders and so on. Of course, buying and holding those stocks doesn't stop you from trading in and out of part of the position. What I am saying is that there is a core position that can be hold long term.

There are stocks at this moment that are no brainer. You buy and you close your eyes. They are like real estate. You cannot say the same about the ETFs trading part.

The problem I guess has to do with recognizing that there are many type of stocks and that it is not easy to study them and decide in which class they belong.
