"What happened to the economy as an issue???"

A lot. We've been listening to elitist politicians brag about how they were going to take care of and fix things for those middle class people for years.

Yesterday, someone actually speaking for the middle class stepped up on stage and made it clear who is taking care of who. We grow your food, we work in industry, we pay for you and now we are going to Washington to reform the mess you've created using our hard earned money. Palin doesn't have to try to feel the pain of the middle class or seek understanding of their needs, she brings it and she is a fabulous role model. The American people connected with that model and are starting to realize this can be a government by the people once again.

Unless you are blind you should have begun to notice the ground swell. They have true representatives in the McCain/Palin team who will fight for them, not just play political games for meaningless partisan suits and seats.

Unless something really drastic happens in the near future to change my mind, I now plan to throw my support behind them by voting for a Republican Presidential team for the first time in my life.
