Both McCain and Palin support the accelerated drill here, drill now notion but have no interest in preventing any resulting oil from being wasted on things like throwaway plastic packaging or single occupant 6000lb SUVs. That is the kind of philosophy that cause the United States to run out of oil before the rest of the world.
