Both obama and palin are uniquely american stories. Folks on this thread with a few exceptions just dont get it. LIbs have the econmic issues. Reps have taxes and fp. Social issues go both ways although a pro choice soccer mom has more in common with a pro life soccer mom than with any of the elitists both right and left..

I think you guys have managed to delude yourself based on one good staged night in front of a crowd primed to love her and grasping at any straw. That isn't America.

The irony is that they are assuming that Americans sitting in their homes watching the spectacle last nite got energized just like they did.

What I saw was a typical GOP hack give a typical GOP speech. If that's what the rest of America saw, McCain's still in trouble.
