MC Cain was dead even with Obama in some polls before last night. You need to check your sources, Patricia. It's possible some wayward poll offered that result. But the leading polls have been giving Obama either 50% or close to that--49--consistently. You could check RealClearPolitics for a summary of all the polls. Obama is clearly ahead right now. Obama would have been way ahead if he had picked Hillary...................the rest is history for now. That we definitely don't know. My guess is (1) much the same results with polls but (2) a Republican convention that is all anti-Hillary all the time.
