Busy here, Yes..... "This Old House" has taken up most of my summer and I am ready to vacate as in "take a vacation", because my nephew who is doing the construction keeps finding areas of concern and I keep telling him to fix them. Been a full time job for him since in his area not too much building going on. Surely glad he is available for us. Ut oh, there goes all the gambling money I won. Can think of better ways I could spend it than maintenance on a 59 year old house. Saturday will probably bring our new great granddaughter. Mommie went to her Doctor yesterday and all the beds in the maternity area were full. Admissions clerk said most Doctors were bringing in their patients to induce labor, I guess because of all the hurricane news. She is due 9/11 and her Doctor said no way would she deliver a baby that day. I will be there for her birth you bet ya, as I was there for the delivery of her two brothers. I know my tears will flow in excitement as there is nothing like holding a newborn a few moments after it enters this world, especially one of your own blood. What a miracle. I can hardly wait to see her. My husband thinks all babies look like Winston Churchill....how dare him!!! Yes I know she will be beautiful no matter what he thinks. Oh please keep me on the list. Such a enjoyable way to start my day.
