Sarah Palin is an example of a conservative woman who is turning traditional feminism on its side. Women are empowered not by shunning the traditional family, but by taking a more active role in it.

By moving to Washington?

To perpetually single liberal men, who think feminism is an excuse to screw around, and who think children are nothing but the "side-effects" of sex (or a "punishment" as Obama calls it), Palin represents a huge threat to their lifestyle.
