teach constitutional law, and get elected to the US Senate and the Illinois state house

Apparently he didn't know the second was an individual right - lousy lawyer, perhaps he should write books and other fantasy stories about his journey.

JF, > BTW you also need to be president of the harvard law review, teach constitutional law, and get elected to the US Senate and the Illinois state house.

True, those aren't easy accomplishments, but neither is becoming mayor and then governor, even for small towns and less-populous states.

You know me, though. I'm not big on the notion that "experience matters," at least when it comes to elected officials.

Let's not let it go to our heads. He taught "constitutional law" on a part-time basis, a night job. Not a professor in the traditional sense. This is NOT in any way, shape or form a qualification to be president. It should be a blip on his resume, and you guys are turning it into some kind of qualification for the presidency.

I've sometimes taught courses in Computer Science as an accommodation for a couple of universities. This is not something I'd list on my resume. It just isn't a big deal.
