In Europe there has been considerable online betting that McCain would drop Palin from the Ticket. It is somewhat pleasurable to me to see them proven wrong.

Ramesh Ponnoru at NRO said he was asked several times if there was a groundswell to drop her. He replied, no, on the contrary, there would be more support for the idea of flippig the ticket and putting Palin on top.

I don't follow on line betting.............are they betting he'll drop her now that she's given her speech? From what I'm hearing and reading, Europeans are pretty impressed.
