who are you trying to convince, yourself? It is true that if McCain wins all the Bush states he will win, is that what you are predicting? Obama has about 20% more safe states and 30% more leanings than McCain. Lets ignore that and look at the tossup states. Virginia Iowa Michigan Missouri Colorado NV FLorida Out of those at this moment, Virginia Iowa and Michigan really really look like Obama. Thats FIFTY electoral votes right there. Lets say McCain took FLA, MI, CO and NV, which I doubt but lets just say he pulled a rabbit out of a hat and got these... thats only 55 electoral votes, Obama wins. Its really hard to overcome a year where so many states are already decided going in. Obama has a huge advantage from the start. And some of those that CNN has listed pink I think may not be pink. cnn.com
