The USA election is fun. Alaska must be like New Zealand = a large village. Is Sarah a relative of yours, a friend or just a close acquaintance? 670,000 population is like Auckland 30 years ago. Iran will NOT be wanting McCain/Palin to win. What a nightmare for them. John McCain singing Beach Boys songs and Sarah invoking God on her side is a scary combination. Obama has the numbers at present so Iran's President Amendiejihad is safe enough at present. When I was a child, I was fascinated to see the neighbour's cat interact with an Alsatian dog which was passing by. The dog had gone into the property to take a look around, getting after the cat. The cat had had kittens not all that long before. Next thing I knew, the dog was flying down the neighbour's footpath to the street with the cat flying after it. I had learned some years before, when I was about 4 years old, that a cow with a calf doesn't take kindly to a friendly child approaching its calf. I woke up being carried into the house and placed on the kitchen table. Humans seem very like a variety of mammal. My experience and expectation is that human mothers don't take kindly to their children being attacked either, though there is a horrific trend in NZ for "step-father" males on the scene to beat and kill their "girlfriend's" infant and older offspring with the women accepting the situation and sometimes being prosecuted with the males. Islamic Jihad stones to death women like Sarah's daughter. Islamic Jihad intends nothing less than world conquest. If Sarah is a vice president or later President of the USA, I doubt she'd give them an inch in making progress towards stoning her daughter. She might even deem their threats to be a declaration of war, which it is. Mqurice
