she did watch after all.

My daughter is a 35 year old soccer mom. She loved the Palin speech. She defined Sarah as one of her own rather than Hillary who was like Mom. Although she said she couldnt vote for her because of the social issues/health care that she feels so strongly on or because she just plain thinks mccain is too old, she did say that many of her friends who are more ambivalent on social issues and dont mind mccain now are reconsidering their initial obama choice. McCain needs to take out the age question somewhat and move toward the independents now that the base is taken care of. If the bump is as big as i expect, mccain may have the lead by this time next week. I dont expect the entire bump to hold but we may end up in a dead heat as we move toward october. Still think obama will win in the end but....
