Good advice for Republicans is to not take advice from Democrats particularly now. I might also add that Palin's selection has revealed a few closet Democrats.

McCain needs to say, "I am John McCain, this is who I am and this is why you should vote for me."

I do not want to hear McCain talking about working across party lines tonite. He can save that for his town hall road shows.

He needs to be tuff and pointed and clear about energy, economic and terror issues. Save the rest - there are 60 + days remaining.

Saw Mort Kondracke on The Beltway Boys this Sunday carping about what a bad pick Sarah Palin was as VP. He's become as much a joke as Peggy Noonan has.

mort has been hostile to Palin and mccain in his last few appearances on fox.

I sent note off to fox yesterday , thought he was way out of character and seemed upset over her nomination.
