Another musical act has requested (through the courts) for the McCain campaign to stop using its music.

Adding their names to Jackson Brown, Van Halen, ABBA, Chuck Berry, John Hall, and others,it appears HEART isn't exactly thrilled with McCain-Palin using "Barracuda" according to CNN.Story Here

Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart said Thursday night that Universal Music Publishing and Sony BMG have sent a cease and desist notice to the McCain-Palin campaign over their use of 'Barracuda.'

"We have asked the Republican campaign publicly not to use our music. We
hope our wishes will be honored," the group said in a statement that said they "condemn" the use of the song at the Republican convention.

Besides being out of touch with the average American, it seems they are out of touch with copyright and usage laws.

Now, I am no lawyer but it seems to me that after five acts have issued cease and desist orders that you might seek to get permission. OOPS. I forgot. They did that wth "Gasolina" but forgot to read the lyrics.

John McCain can't hear the music.
