My crash value calculation on the SSEC for this fall is roughly 1400. That's the lowest it can theoretically go. That's also the rising support on the monthly out of the 1994 and 2005 lows.

The 2245 shelf has been taken out on that index, so the most likely area of support now is the lower monthly Bollinger band at around 1800. The good lows usually hit the lower band, and crash value will probably be hit in a couple of years when it's at about 1700.
