I agree Dave, all the independents, including me, are going to vote for the (D)'s this cycle.

Maybe when the (R)'s decide to move back to the center, to quit pandering to the fundamentalists, the willfully stupid, the fearful, the wealthy and start serving the people and the broader interests of America, maybe we'll vote for them again.

Self-described "independents" are always suspect to me. For example, Michael on this thread (I guess he would claim to be independent) -- independent? No way. Liberal to the core. He tries real hard to seem independent, but there was never any doubt which way he would fly.

Same is true of these guys. I listen to callers on C-SPAN a lot, and almost invariably, when they call on the "independent" line, you know you got a liberal.
