Ed from view of the center:

<<... I think McCain is well intentioned but intellectually and temperamentally incapable of creating change and moving this country in a progressive direction. His reliance on the old guard of the Republican movers and shakers makes that almost a certainty and his foreign policy kinship with Bush, Lieberman and Lindsey Graham is terrifying.

His motives may be true but his grasp is sorely lacking. He's the football player who stubbornly runs head-on into the defensive line and gets stuffed every time; you admire his pluck but he's just not going to get you into the end zone...>>

KOAN: I strongly disagree with the above and it represents exactly where many folks are missing what MCCain really is i.e. HE IS NOT WELL INTENTIONED!!

First he lies with impunity. He lies and lies and lies. he is doing it right now. Take his nonsensical comments on health care!

E.G.voted with Bush 95% of the time---how is that well intentioned??

Voted against the minimum wage 19 times and against medicare precription drugs 28 times. He also voted against all of the alternative energy bills and agaisnt equal pay for equal work.

How is any of this well intentioned?????????????

I am now changing the station as listening to MCCain speak is making me ill!
