Obama is a problem because he is so extreme and most of the country doesn't want to go there with him.

But he used to be sufficiently vague. Until he gave a Walter Mondale - like convention acceptance speech...

see him him as an honest, steadfast footsoldier, possibly even a tactician, but I don't see him as a strategist - certainly not in the way Reagan was. Reagan was able to formulate his ideas, create a movement and in the span of a quarter of a decade sell the country on it and lead it to the White house.

Reagan is an awfully high standard for anyone to be held to.


Yes, its really hard to fukk with as much of the world as Reagan did while making the deficit go up.
