The one term idea was for him running with lieberman. It is implicit that he will be one term as he will be 76 at the end of this one. If i reconsider mccain, i will view him as an interim harry truman like figure that consolidates stuff as the parties figure out what they will be for and against going forward. For me to vote for him i will have to pray every day that the more liberal justices dont die. Although i dont vote social issues for president, it is very important to me that the extreme pro life forces dont tear this country apart. PS i would say the same things for the extreme gay marriage folks.
