As for overturning Roe, I'm conflicted...esp. at the thought of criminalizing women who don't want to bear a child. At the same time I view it as an act of murder and the argument that the fetus should be granted the right to be born and experience human existence really resonates with me.

You mentioned that you had a difficult life and lived in foster homes before being adopted by parents who had a drinking problem, if my memory serves. Considering all this pain, do you ever wish you had been aborted instead?

I ask this, not to be rude, but because I suspect that most people in your circumstances and even much worse would still say 'no' to that question. Things have a way of working out.

At any rate, it is a complicated issue, and I don't believe even the most fundamental evangelical isn't sympathetic to women not wanting to be forced to bear a child.
