This says to me that Obama's model of political success is the demagogue with a mass following. Nothing in his campaign contradicts this notion. But successful demagogues thrive on class resentments, and they usually have an ordered program, like Mussolini or Hitler. Nobody can say that Hitler didn't bring a definite political philosophy to the table. Obama seeks to do it on "hope and change" alone. And "soak the rich". It's not enough to provide staying power, I think.
