Anybody know anything about Assembly of God. I was friends with a person who later in life joined this church. His views became more and more radical. He tried to convert me because i think they get special points for converting a Jew. In the end, we just stopped talking. This guy started with a catholic background and wound up being a bible thumper. If this article is true, it would make it impossible for me to vote for this ticket anymore. Christians evangelicals shouldnt be controlling one of the two major parties and the extreme pro-life stance and general lack of tolerance or respect for the privacy and decision making of others is troubling, not to mention choice of SCOTUS justices. There are conservative justices and then there are folks with agendas, both left and right. Latter has no place on the court. Rant for the morning as i firm up my decision of two weeks ago to vote for obama.
