I've looked at the facts.

The trooper was clearly in the wrong. The supervisor did not take adequate action, fast enough, and therefore needed to go.

She did what keen administrators have to do. She cut him loose because he clearly wasn't competent to do the job.

We can argue about whether it is because of his failure to follow up on the investigation of the trooper, or whether it was because of his incompetence in other areas where Palin clearly had issues with him.

But the fact is he needed to go and that is that.
