Palin's speech was mediocre, at best. The media is giving her some slack though. They oughta know better that she's out of her league, but the they might want to make this a horse race. Better ratings...and the RNC will stop bitching that the media is pulling for Obama, hopefully.

The pick of Palin shows how McCain believes the voters are just plain stupid. A self-proclaimed "hockey Mom" for potential Commander In Chief??? Wow, I've seen a lot of BS in my time but that really takes the prize. McCain is wrong about the voters, he showed his complete desperation in that move. And he will lose badly. I am a swing voter and I long ago realized the complete sell-out by the GOP. They need to be completely dismantled.
