i havent read the posts pertaining to uppity but as an fyi, uppity negroes has a place in US history. If someone said barack was uppity, that wouldnt be right. Its like the word lynch. Other folks were lynched too but the latrines klan existed in reality and they lynched blacks for the hell of it.

"The only ones making this claim are the ones who play the race card on a regular basis."

Uh huh. Sure. Now who are the race card players you are talking about?

Maybe you'd like to show me your "dictionary" and prove to me that "uppity" is a racial slur, LOL ...

This is as much a racial slur as the word nigger or kike or spic except its not a noun. In fact, the term was frequently used with nigger as in 'uppity nigger'. Now if you think its okay to call Obama a nigger, than I guess uppity is not any worse. And its not about being PC, its about not insulting someone.

it's used all the time here in the south, mostly by seniors, describes people who look down on everyone else....

UPpity.....

"mighty uppity" is heard a lot describing

Used commonly like ""he's mighty uppity" to think he can pull the wool over everyone's eyes"....

nothing racists about it, just Barry playing the victim, one of the many reasons he has no chance of being the leader of the free world.
