Yes, my impression of Palin is that she is whiny, has an obnoxious nasal voice and was preaching to others even though her life is a mess. I can't see that going over very well or wearing well either. She brought a ton of attention to the Republicans and has greatly eclipsed McCain who now looks immaterial. This week at any rate, it has been Palin for President and John who? The constant leaking of bad news (it is never good news, just bad news) about Palin though will wear badly. I can't see non-fanatical suburbanites (most of us) going for a rural woman from Alaska whose life is very different and who is hiding too much stuff. The National Enquirer has managed to bury John Edwards. They should be able to do the same to Palin.
