I have worked in the most corrupt countries in the world -barred Bangladesh- I have always kept my hands clean. I have come to the conclusion that ethics has taken the back seat in education. That as a result of the fragmentation of knowledge. Fragmentation of knowledge, was necessary to educate narrow-band specialists. While the economy, as whole, benefits of this specialization, it produces people without any knowledge of humanities. I think this peopole not educated in humanities come out as unethical. Perhaps, if I had never educated myself in political economy subjects today I would be in jail, rich or dead...
