Well, the Treasury essentially gets 80% of each GSE in warrants for $1 billion in preferred stock. If anyone thinks the housing market will stabilize next year - my hand is up, this was the best deal since Bear Stearns was handed to JPM for $2 a share.

Exactly, and puttng missles in Poland was nuts? Why would we do that??? That is just looking for a fight. We gain nothing from doing that. Just a less secure world and you are right we cannot let Georgia and the Ukraine into NATO. In fact when the Warsaw Pact was disbanded so probably we should have disbanded NATO.

We would not allow missles in Cuba and were willing to risk a nuclear war to prvent that. The movie 13 days (Kevin Costner) was made based on the transcripts and shows how close we came ot a nuclear war.

The Kennedy's prevented a nuclear war that time as Curtis LeMay wanted to bomb the Russian's missles in cuba which would probably have caused a nuclear war.

We have no Kennedy to save us now and putting missles in Poland is the craziest foreign policy action I ahve ever seen, next to Custers last stand and Pickets charge.

MCCain knows nothing but war and I do not think Palin knows how many continents there are. Palin cannot even go on Meet the Press as there is no way she can answer any sophisticated foreign policy questions.

PS my biggest beef with Palin is her wanting to fire the local librarian becasue she would not remove books Palin thought distastful from her religious point of view.

Freedom of the press, is the foundation of free people!!! She also wants to teach creationism in schools (which of the 5,000 religous interpretations of creationism do we teach? And she does not believe in either global warming or evolution.

Palin's philosophy all sounds very 19th century to me.
