Where was the vote taken ? The Senate. There were few dissenters. Clinton voted for the war. If you read the posts it is one of the reasons a lot of people had given up on her. Her judgement was not discretionary. His was. Most good decisions or poor ones or inappropriate ones or fictitious ones are revealed long after the dye has been cast. So it was for our invading Iraq. There was no Al Qaeda there. In fact Saddam hated them. We created the monster which now we are fighting although since the one tribe Shia's I think have come over to our side things have been better..
