You assume the republicans can't just keep starting wars. Looking back over the Bush presidency, I'm not sure how on Earth you could assume that's going to stop. Further the R's are very likely to create entitlements- it's just theirs will be corporate welfare...

...Unless your policy is to maintain a constant state of war in order to justify a large military and large military expenditures. As we seem to be wrapping up in Iraq, we also seem to be queueing up some very promising candidates for the next: Iran , North Korea- and, of course - the real jackpot - Russia.

Forgive me, but your profile says you are retired. Don't you collect Social Security? If so, are you ashamed to take it?
