We can't afford the Iraq war. $800B and counting and we are $10 trillion in debt. What have we achieved? One less dictator in the world. Fine. That's great. But the American people are poorer for it, our country is close to bankruptcy, and we're still spending money on rebuilding Iraq when we should be rebuilding and investing in America. Forgive me if I don't give two shits about the Iraqis. I'd rather focus on the welfare of Americans, especially when it comes to spending American lives and treasure.
