I mentioned religion because I noticed a fact here in Brazil. Evangelical church grew a lot during the 'Lost Decade'. I noticed it had changed the values and behavior of people.

I also noticed, when I went back to Nigeria. After 13 years they had turned more religious and thier values and behavior were changed too.

I started expanding this concept and thinking about "the Weber thesis". "The Protestant Ethic and the sprit of capitalism"
