We probably won't see Michelle again. 1) She's probably the reason Barry didn't pick Hillary, a major blunder. 2) It hurts the 'Sarah is a bad Mom' meme for Michelle to be out there on the campaign trail too.

Michelle is probably responsible for Axelrod being in the picture. She was the one with the right connections to further BO's career. See this puff piece, e.g. diversityinc.com Some interesting facts I picked up in research today: Michelle was admitted to the Illinois bar on 5/12/89. Obama was admitted on 12/17/91. They were married in 1992. Michelle has been inactive as a lawyer in Illinois since 1993. Obama went inactive in 2008. [Inactive means ineligible to practice. It's a voluntary decision. An inactive lawyer can usually go active again by requesting the change in status and paying the bar dues.] She worked at Sidley Austin where she met Obama. npr.org [Given her short stint there, I doubt she did more than grunt work, research and briefcase carrying.] Obama was an associate at the Davis, Milner firm from 1993 to 2002. If he failed to make partner after that long, it's rather unusual. That law firm did substantial work for Rezco and his company.
