Thanks for posting that 05 Krugman piece. I had forgotten. He was precisely on target. Though the corps hardly needed Kristol to guide them or hold their hand.

...And behind it all lies lavish financing from the energy industry, especially ExxonMobil.

This is why I get so angry when I see the commercials from the like of BP and others about employeeing green energy generation. DOes anyone seriously agree that the oil companies will advocate anything but a token use of technologies that would undermine the value of their primary asset -the black stuff in the ground?
