Just thought we all needed a dose of optimism. The Republicans are master strategists and the Palin pick was brilliant in that she is so controversial, she takes attention away from Obama and issues. That was by design. The national polls reflect the McCain-Palin combo's new popularity. However, I believe the state by state polls are more reflective of what Americans are really thinking about which ticket is more capable of governing. I may be wrong, but we'll see. Just don't despair. After the election, we'll all be on top of the moon. It's been a long journey and we're almost there.
