Ted, you think what makes the phrase "uppity n-----" racist is ... ummmm ... maybe the N-word in it? Nah, can't be. After all, the N-word is a perfectly fine word to use until you add "uppity" to it. It says so right in CJ's dictionary! I gave you three different versions of how uppity is used as a racist term. And its very common to use uppity with nigger.
