Every conflict in the world is ultimately America's fault.. I must admit, I can't understand how the "Lefties" can be so myopic when it comes to assigning "blame" for the world's conflicts. How many of these weak-minded people have claimed that the US "armed" Saddam, ignoring all the Soviet built equipment, purchased with money borrowed from the Russians, Iraq was armed with?? And then they blame us for inciting violence in Georgia, where the Russian's have spent the past 18 years attempting to drive a wedge between the Georgians and the Abkhazians/S. Ossetians, supporting ethnic cleansing that turned 300,000 Georigians into refugees. Then Moscow issued out Russian passports, armed the separatists, attacked their electronic networks, and used the country as a locus for smuggling.. etc. But then again, the "lefties" were the same people who decried Serbian aggression against the Bosnians and Kosovars and demanded US intervention. And despite the fact that we're still involved in Kosovo, few people from "moveon.org" are out there protesting against US occupation of Kosovo, or how we "provoked" Serbian aggression. And hello!!! That's exactly what Moscow has cynically cited as a precedent for what they are trying to do in Georgia.. (but notice they've never offered to recognize the independence of the NORTH Ossetians.. ;0) I'll have a lot more respect for Democrats when they stop this "hate America" attitude and begin to understand that the majority of conflicts involve aggression by non-democratic governments. And many of these same governments are hell-bent upon running rough-shod over developing countries in order to control their resources. Hawk
