If 31% polled acknowledge that race would be a consideration in their vote, I'd say the numbers are actually higher than 4o% as a number of them would lie about it. The great majority of voters are white, therefore...As for Palin I agree 100% but I feel reporters are in a cage when you're dealing with her. She had premarital sex, her daughter is pregnant etc etc and they spin it all positively as proof of "family values". What a great example to our youths...BTW, the Mccain camp was kinda forcing Oprah to have her mostly for propaganda purposes. Oprah refuses any declared candidate on the show. And even if she were invited they'd spin so heard ol' Oprah would end up with vertigo. Catch 22... ;-)
