Loading up on Gold...,now there is a switch a roo from your previous stance,if I'm not mistaken;respectfully submitted of course.

Gold? I would think Gold will move higher but the value is not intrinsicly safe as a commodity play like Oil,or other commodities might be. You can not utilize Gold in any way shape or form. It has no real value. What International currency is back by its Gold reserves?

Hyper inflation will cause many natural resource commodities to soar. And what about Oil,priced in US Dollars? The idea the Oil commodity which our country has so little of and consumes internationally the most of is priced in US Dollars,gg? Now that is a real problem.

Looky how our Dow is up 345 pts in the first five minutes of trading. What "F%^_" is wrong with that picture?

"The only risk to going into deflation would be if the Fed and the Treasury would sit on their hands and do nothing"
Not true imo. they can do lots but as todays market shows in force, if they do not really intend to fully monetize then the debt monster may well not be held at bay. half baked wont do it. and will they really risk hyperinflation? tell me why. How do the powerbrokers gain from that?

Today I dumped half my Tsy holdings, everything due over 3 years out, and began scaling into SLV. About the only other thing I am holding is SRS.

It appears to me Government debt got exposed to the biggest POS bailout in the history of the world over the WE. This is somewhat of a game changer for me, and I had gains in those Tsys so I took them.
