this is being done in other countries already - Germany, most notably Germany is the size of a postage stamp. It doesn't cost hundreds of euros plus a few tanks of gas to haul a dishwasher back to Miele. We can learn from their experience what works and what does not. We can, indeed, learn from them. But we can't necessarily apply their procedures as is. People keep trying to do that with health care. We can pick up their principles and study their procedures and then design our own procedures as informed by cost-benefit analysis and common sense. It it turns out that a the market cost-effectively creates disassembler jobs, all the better.
