>>Palin Derangement Syndrome strikes again. This time it’s hysterical librarians and their readers on the Internet disseminating a bogus list of books Gov. Sarah Palin supposedly banned in 1996. <<

Dvd -

We do know that Palin first tried to get the local librarian to ban some books, then sent said librarian a notice of termination for failing to support Palin's policies. We further know that a public outcry made Palin relent, and that the librarian kept her job.

The list of books is obviously fake.

But the site you linked to is among many that are disseminating the false idea that the official Obama campaign site has anything to do with spreading the list of books. The list doesn't appear on the Obama site. The link Ms. Malkin provides to the Obama site generates an "invalid page" error.

Notably, the URL of that invalid page reveals it to be a page in the "community comments" section of the site. The Obama site makes it possible for individual supporters to create their own blogs, and it was on one such blog that the offending material appeared. It has since been taken down, as it properly should have been.
