This race was Obama's to lose...he passed up on Hillary for VP giving McCain a huge opportunity to capitalize on that. Palin is weak but she's a woman...

The women have been wanting a woman in the WH for a long time, even if she's an idiot. Couldn't possibly be worse than GWB...My point is that we should not believe the polls when women are asked this question. They don't want to sound stupid. So, they lie. It comes naturally. By the same token, if they are asked whether race is a factor, they lie again. But 31% of gutsy Americans(here both male and female) say: YES. I speculate the numbers are 40+%. Polls are so misleading when personal info is touched upon...
