But, I wish pastors would not endorse candidates either as a church or personally i could not agree more. generally i have little respect for religious figures getting into the business of politics. they are the ones out there promoting their beliefs and trying to thrust them on to the general public. Plus, this is exactly where the 'secular' public gets its information regarding 'religion' and thus good religious self sacrificing organizations get painted with the same brush as the in your face politically motivated religious individuals such as pat roberson. sad really.
