Steve, Your discussion of carpet is exactly what cradle to cradle is all about - so I agree with you generally. Maybe even I am slow to grasp the benefits of your idea That's where I got it. You have to love that book - not only for its information, but for the fact that it is printed on a synthetic, infinitely reusable material (paper can only be reused as print/bond paper a few times before it is too degraded for that purpose; gotta turn into park benches, or something) ,printed with a soy-based ink. Talk about walking the talk!
