You are half right. Palin is anything but weak. It was the hysterical attack on Palin that illuminated the error and made Palin look good.

I agree Obama really blew it. And truth be told, Hillary should have been the candidate not Obama in the first place. Hilllary won ALL yes ALL the big states. All the states where the economy matters were hers. Those are all the important states. Obama won the small states with caucuses. I like Obama and think he would be a great president. But its going to be tough for him.

If the dems lose this, they are going to have to practically give the Clintons, ANY Clinton, even socks the cat if he is still alive a knighthood or something. The Clintons know how to WIN ELECTIONS. And then, they actually know how to execute once they are in there (something the right can't do- they can win but its a bloodbath after that).

Sarah Palin could never win a major office in her own right.
