What's the big deal over "outing" Bristol? If she's going to appear in family photos with a lump in her belly, her mother will have to explain it.

Anyway, your link supports the "buzz," but not your next claim, "The fact of the matter is that some very odd things have gone on and Palin has been acting somewhat strangely." None of her actions to date have seemed odd or strange to me.

cj,

My intent was to figure out why the campaign thought it important to quash rumors I never heard about by outing Bristol. I did that by tracking back to Alaskan sources, all of which predated Palin's pick by months, and posting what I found.

Why do you find it strange that the campaign tried to quash false rumors? And why disclosing true information (Bristol pregnancy) should in any way related to quashing the false rumor? Just because both took place in very short time Palin has been on national stage?

Here is some of the strange behavior.

What do you find strange about that article? That she still traveled month before due date, that she insisted on going back, or that she didn't look in 8th month the same way women look in the 9th month?

The stage of her pregnancy was not apparent by observation. She did not show any signs of distress," Boren said.

Palin never got big with this pregnancy. She said she didn't try to hide it but didn't feel a need to alert the airline, either.

They landed in Anchorage around 10:30 p.m. Thursday and an hour later were at the Mat-Su Regional Medical Center in Wasilla.

Baldwin-Johnson said she had to induce labor, and the baby didn't come until 6:30 a.m. Friday.

"It was smooth. It was relatively easy," Palin said. "In fact it was the easiest of all," probably because Trig was small, at 6 pounds, 2 ounces.

Let's see......."her pregnancy was not apparent" and she "never got big" but she gave birth to a 6 pound boy? Now that is strange. My mentor teacher has nearly two months to go and they estimate the baby's weight between 4-5 lbs and even if you didn't see her bump which is huge, you can tell by the way she's walking that she's pregnant.

I never believed the stories that it was her daughter's baby but now I understand why that was an issue. It is strange.
