IJ,
I will leave the legal work for you, but you need to leave the history to me...(:>)
1) Georgia attack Russia first! This is sort of like Bush first invading Iraqi and now telling Russia that they shouldn't defend themselves from the attack...if we are keeping score!
2) All the blustering from Bush and McCain..the Russians called their bluff and our naval ship turned back from entering their port while the fighting was going on, to deliver supplies ..now that is floundering and sticking one's tail between their legs. What was it that was forced down our throats for 8 years...no diplomacy with our enemies. Where has Condi been recently, if you think Obama floundered with his approach...we aren't talking about a double standard, are we?

Or, didn't you notice the floundering that Obama went through as he groped with Russia invading Georgia?

You're kidding right? What is the McCain response to Georgia; to get in Russia's face and then declare "we are all Georgians today". This is how world wars start - by failing to understand your adversary. What is our response? To send Georgia a gift of a billion dollars to rebuild. Why is that our responsibility
when we need to rebuild our own infrastructure?

You might be a Georgian, I'm an American.
