Sarah Palin could never win a major office in her own right WTF are you talking about - Alaska has only one Governor and two Senators. Governors make decisions all day long Senators vote once in a while. There's only two higher job positions and she's running for one of them now.

You could look at it another way: if Obama loses, then the Clintons will have to take a share of the blame. Hillary is putting conditions on her campaigning, won't attack Palin, won't use a strong argument (SCOPUS appointments leading to overturning of Roe v Wade). Bill's support has been tepid at best. If they continue in this way, Demos will see that they are more interested in power than on doing the right thing for the country.
